Poor Toto
This morning the girls were watching "The Wizard of Oz". Rorie woke up a few minutes after they started to watch and came into our room. I asked her if she wanted to go down and watch the movie with the girls. This would be her first time to watch "The Wizard of Oz". I happened to mention the dog "Toto" and the Wicked Witch of the West but not with much detail. A few seconds later Rorie yelled in her best distressed girlie voice, "Toto come back". She looked at Kevin and I and said "the wicked witch swiped Toto". She covered her mouth with her hand in greater distress than before and said again "come back Toto". She got off the bed and ran out of the room. She didn't still hadn't gone downstairs to see the movie. She came back just a few seconds later and said "oh, Toto, you're back" while she hugged the imaginary dog in her hand. This same scene was repeated at least four or five times, each a little more dramatic than the one before. Kevin and I just looked at each other and laughed and laughed. This is just one example of the daily imaginations and dramatization's that go on in our home with Rorie Ann. What a sweetheart!
